Your generous gifts, both large and small, allow us to keep the lighthouses open to the public. All donations directly support our mission to preserve, promote, educate the public, and make our lighthouses accessible to all. As do proceeds from tower climbs and gift shop sales.
Lakeshore Keepers is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
Cost: $200 per board
Trex boards make up the walkway around Big Sable Point Lighthouse and to the gift shop at Little Sable Point Lighthouse. You may purchase one in memory of a loved one or with your family’s name on it to help preserve the lighthouses. Each Trex board will be engraved with two lines, each containing up to 25 characters. Characters may include regular keyboard characters, hearts, a cross, and cancer ribbons.
Trex boards are guaranteed for five years. If the board becomes too worn down after this time, the Trex board donor will be contacted.
Orders for Trex boards placed after September 1 will be installed the following Spring.
